Would you like the luck of the Chimney Sweep on your Wedding Day?
In the reign of George II, the fireplace was considered the heart of the home and family.
The chimney sweep therefore was a central figure in the community, as without a good fire in the hearth, it was believed the heart would fall out of the home.
Superstition had it if the bride was introduced to a sweep on her wedding day this meant she would be a successful mistress of hearth and home.
Bert and Albert are a couple of cheeky chaps that will greet the happy couple after the ceremony with a poem to break the ice and bearing traditional gifts to bring good luck and fortune to the happy couple at the same time putting a smile on the faces of your guests just in time for the photographs.
Your chimney sweep will pause for a time after the official photographs just in case your guests would like a personal photograph as a memento of their part in your day.
Gary will liaise with your photographer, venue provider, and other services in order to fit in seamlessly with the days other celebrations.
He will always keep in mind that your day is as much a joyous occasion as it is a solemn affirmation of your commitment to one another.
Who says you can’t laugh along the way?
